Djémila: fabulous diamond from the past.

Djémila is a beautiful mountain antique town in Algeria high land.

Namely Djemila in arabic means the beautiful, which it is.

It was a roman town built 1900 years ago,  in roman time it was know as Cuicul or Curculum, breath taking in the height with fresh air, and mind moving to see this marvelous human architecture of antiquity built at 900m above sea level.

A complete city, with it’s amazing theater that can host thousands of spectators, stunning municipal council, temple, superb houses, even cool public toilet.

I enjoyed great times with my kids and family in this fabulous diamond from the past.
