Denial will not be enough, it has to be followed by deviating the true debate, from education debate, to civilisation and war between languages debate, which is totally a false debate..
The core debate in Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia is very simple direct and realistic: what second language we need in our education system? What second language we need in our business environment? What language we need to communicate with the world? To interact with the new centres of development and innovations?
Simple problematic.. direct and realistic..
Unfortunately some hide in denial way of thinking, and deviate the course of debate to a war of civilisation and a war of languages..
We are not against French as a language, therefore there is no war of languages!!
we are just looking for our country interest, what language we need for our future, for our economic development, for our universities to flourish, for our students to be updated in science and engineering, for our integration in the modern world, to have better tools to promote our country in tourism, to sell our products, to export our fruits and industries outcome,
even the French elite look for the English to improve their position…. we are just saying to junta look for Algeria interest, enough with French as a medium of education,
Benghabrit is wasting the new generation time and Algeria human capital..
We are not against French as a language..
